Barron’s Ranks Local Financial Advisor among Top 100 in the Country
June 7, 2017

Williamsport, PA – June 7 , 2017 – Barron’s Magazine recently announced its 2017 Top 100 Women Financial Advisors list ranking Barbara B. Hudock, CEO and Founding Partner of Hudock Capital Group, as one of a select group of financial advisors nationwide.  This is the tenth time that the financial news organization included Hudock’s practice in its list, naming her among the highest ranked women financial advisors in the nation.

Published by Dow Jones & Company since 1921, Barron’s covers U.S. financial information, market developments and relevant statistics.  The publication releases the annual “Top 100” list to recognize leading women financial advisors within the industry on the basis of the volume of assets under management by them and their team, revenues generated for their firms and the advisor’s quality of practice.

Earlier this year, Hudock was named by Barron’s as one of America’s Top 1200 Financial Advisors overall ranked by state, placing her among the top 35 financial advisors in Pennsylvania.  It was the eighth time Hudock has made that national list.

Hudock, who holds both the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM) professional designations, recently marked 42 years of experience in the wealth management industry.

“I am truly honored and deeply humbled to be recognized again by Barron’s,” said Hudock, “and I am mindful that I did not earn this recognition alone.  Barron’s ranking is truly a reflection of our outstanding client base and the tremendous efforts that our experienced team of professionals devotes to making a positive and profound difference in the lives of our clients and the communities we serve. Our extraordinary team is devoted to developing a dynamic relationship with every client, one that is centered on a highly personalized and principled approach to investing with purpose.”

In addition to personally focusing on the needs of high-net-worth individuals, families and institutions in Central and Northern Pennsylvania areas, as well as those residing in other parts of the country, Hudock’s philosophy of strategic philanthropic community support is a core value of the firm.  Embraced by the entire team and reflecting the same philosophy of a majority of the firm’s clients, Hudock and her team consistently support a variety of arts, health and education non-profit organizations throughout the region.
