Barron’s Ranks Local Financial Advisor Among Top 100 in Country
July 23, 2015

Barron’s Magazine recently announced its 2015 Top 100 Women Financial Advisors list ranking Barbara B. Hudock, CEO and Founding Partner of Hudock Capital Group as one of a select group of financial advisors nationwide.  This year marks the eighth year Hudock has been named to the list, ranked at 61 among 100 of the most successful women financial advisors in the U.S. by the financial news organization.

Published by Dow Jones & Company since 1921, Barron’s covers U.S. financial information, market developments and relevant statistics.  The publication releases the annual “Top 100” list to recognize leading women financial advisors within the industry on the basis of the volume of assets under management by them and their team, revenues generated for their firms and the advisor’s quality of practice.

The announcement adds to an already eventful year for Hudock and her team.  In March, Hudock was named by Barron’s as one of America’s Top 1200 Financial Advisors overall ranked by state which placed her in the top 20 financial advisors in Pennsylvania.  It was the sixth time Hudock had made that national list which is also released annually.

Later that month, the firm she cofounded with her son Michael announced a total rebranding including a new firm name, Hudock Capital Group, LLC and new tag line, Wealth Partners with Purpose to better reflect the firm’s core mission.

In June, Hudock, who holds both the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM) professional designations, marked 40 years of experience in the wealth management industry.

“To say that I’m honored by the Barron’s recognition would be an understatement that would overshadow the real force behind every exciting event that has transpired this year.  That force is our team and our amazing clients.  Without them, recognitions like this would not be possible,” said Hudock.  “We have an extraordinary group of professionals who dedicate themselves to our mission of partnering with and empowering our clients to realize their dreams and financial goals by implementing dynamic strategies tailored to every stage of their lives with exceptional attention to detail and purpose.”

In addition to personally focusing on the needs of high-net-worth individuals and families in the Williamsport, Danville and Lewisburg areas as well as those residing in other parts of the country, Hudock’s philosophy of strategic philanthropic community support is a core value of the firm.  Embraced by the entire team and reflecting the same philosophy of the majority of the firm’s clients, Hudock and her team consistently support a variety of arts, health and education non-profit organizations throughout the region.
