The 11th Annual Tournament has donated more than $115k in total Charitable Contributions to Area Nonprofit Organizations – Milton Public Library named the 2016 Recipient.

This year marked the eleventh in a row that Hudock Capital organized its annual golf tournament to raise funds for an area nonprofit organization.  The wealth management firm located in Williamsport held the 11th Annual Hudock Capital Classic Charity Golf Event on Friday, August 5th at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club to benefit the Milton Public Library.

Between the contributions made by the scores of registered golfers and matching funds contributed by Hudock Capital, $10,000 was generated in a single day to benefit the Milton Public Library.  The proceeds raised at this year’s event bring the total contributions raised by the annual charity golf tournament for area nonprofit organizations to more than $115,000.

“Hudock Capital is grateful for the continued tremendous community support for our annual charity golf tournament,” said Michael J. Hudock Jr., president and founding partner of Hudock Capital Group.  “For us, this tournament is a meaningful opportunity to further our core purpose – to make a profound and positive difference in the lives of our clients and in the communities we serve.  We are humbled by the opportunity to partner with so many purpose-driven individuals in support of meaningful causes in our community.”

Established by Michael J. Hudock Jr. in 2005, the Hudock Capital Classic Charity Golf Event is one of several enduring philanthropic initiatives the firm founded and actively supports throughout the region to provide financial support for area arts, health and education nonprofits.  Past recipients include the Community Arts Center, Williamsport Area School District, Uptown Music Collective, Williamsport Symphony Orchestra, YWCA, Habitat for Humanity, the American Cancer Society, WVIA public broadcasting and the Red Raider Foundation.
